Pythagoras Theorem

Buddhayam an Indian Mathematician (600 B.C) developed a relationship between the square described on the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle and sum of the squares described on the remaining two sides of the triangle. But the credit of this relationship goes to Greek mathematician Pythagoras and is called Pythagoras Theorem.
